ZUMBA® Ages 16+

ZUMBA®: Ditch the workout - join the party! ZUMBA® has easy to follow moves and routines featuring interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you’ve got ZUMBA®.

ZUMBA® Toning: Perfect for those who want to party but put extra emphasis on toning and sculpting to define those muscles! How It Works: The challenge of adding resistance by using ZUMBA® Toning Sticks (or light weights) helps you focus on specific muscle groups so you (and your muscles) stay engaged! Benefits: Lightweight maraca-like toning sticks enhance sense of rhythm and coordination while toning target zones, including arms, core and lower body. Shake, shake, shake things up!

SENIOR FITNESS Ages 60+

Strength & Bone Density: There is scientific evidence that shows the benefits of weight bearing exercise on bone density. We reach peak bone density in our twenties and begin to lose it in our thirties. This is especially true without proper exercise, diet and with a family history of osteoporosis. This class takes you through a wide variety of light weight bearing exercises to help you stay strong and healthy. Our instructor, Holly Ramsdell, is certified in senior fitness and has enjoyed teaching seniors since 2009.

Ageless Grace: Ageless Grace is a cutting-edge brain fitness program based on neuroplasticity that activates all 5 functions of the brain - analytical, strategic, kinesthetic learning, memory/recall, creativity and imagination - and simultaneously addresses all 21 physical skills needed for lifelong optimal function. The program consists of 21 simple exercise tools that are designed to re-open and re-activate all those neural pathways that have shut down over the years but still remain in the body. This class is designed for all ages and abilities. The exercises, based on everyday movements that are natural and organic, focus on the healthy longevity of the body and mind. The movements are designed to be performed seated in a chair, and almost anyone can do them, regardless of most physical conditions. Our instructor, Holly Ramsdell, is certified in senior fitness and has enjoyed teaching seniors since 2009.

Gentle Yoga: Age more gracefully and become more active through yoga. It’s a perfect practice for those with injuries, poor balance, or stiffness. This is a safe and gentle approach proven to improve posture, flexibility, balance, and strength. Yoga improves breathing and mindfulness, leading to improved mental well-being. You will feel stronger and more alert. A chair is used for the first part of the class followed by floor exercises. Please bring a yoga mat.

ZUMBA® Gold: ZUMBA® Gold is for active older adults who are looking for a modified ZUMBA® class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity. The design of the class introduces easy to follow ZUMBA® choreography that focuses on all elements of fitness: cardiovascular, muscular conditioning, range of motion, balance, and coordination. Come ready to sweat and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong. This dance-fitness class is suitable for all fitness levels, and no experience is necessary. Come join the fun!
